Alf Mabrook (“Alf Mabrook,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is operated by Alf-Mabrook LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. We sell Islamic and culturally meaningful gifts for celebrations and milestones through             alf-mabrook.com (the “Site”).

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to the Site, to our emails and other messages, to our social media pages, and to any purchase you make from us (together, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to the practices described here.

1.Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact and account details: name, email address, phone number, and your password if you create an account.
  • Order details: billing and shipping addresses, the products you buy, order history, and any discount codes you use.
  • Gift details: the recipient’s name and shipping address, gift messages, and any names or text you ask us to personalize on a product.
  • Payment information: this is entered directly into our payment processors (Shopify Payments, Shop Pay, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and ACH bank payment providers). We do not see or store your full card or bank account number.
  • Communications: messages you send to customer service, survey responses, product reviews, and content you share with us or tag us in on social media.
  • Marketing preferences: for example, whether you have signed up for our emails.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site or open our emails, we and our service providers collect certain
information automatically using cookies, pixels, tags and similar technologies.

This includes:

  • Device and browser type, IP address, approximate location (city or region, derived from your IP address), and language settings.
  • Pages and products viewed, items added to your cart, checkout activity, referring website or ad, and time spent on pages.
  • Whether you opened or clicked our emails.

Information from other sources

We may receive information about you from social media platforms when you interact with our pages or ads, from advertising and analytics partners, and from payment and fraud-prevention providers (for example, whether a transaction appears fraudulent).

2.How we use your information

  • To process, ship and deliver your orders, including gift orders, and to send order confirmations and shipping updates.
  • To provide customer service and handle returns, refunds and exchanges.
  • To personalize products when you request it.
  • To send marketing emails about new products, occasions and offers, when permitted by law and your choices.
  • To show you relevant ads on other websites and on social media, and to measure how well our ads perform.
  • To understand how people use the Site so we can improve it.
  • To prevent fraud, protect the security of the Services, and enforce our Terms of Service.
  • To comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations.

3.Information about religious beliefs

Many of our products relate to Islamic practices and celebrations. Some U.S. state privacy
laws treat information that reveals religious beliefs as “sensitive” personal information.

We do not ask you to tell us your religion. We do not use your purchases or browsing to
create profiles that label you by religion. We do not sell or share information
about your religious beliefs, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.
When we advertise, we use general interest and occasion-based audiences
provided by advertising platforms, not inferences we make about any individual’s faith.

4.Cookies, pixels and similar technologies

We use the following types of technologies:

  • Essential: these keep the Site working, for example your shopping cart and checkout. They are provided by Shopify.
  • Analytics: these help us understand Site traffic and performance (for example, Shopify Analytics and similar analytics tools).
  • Advertising: these include the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API, which share information about your activity on our Site (such as pages viewed, items added to cart and purchases)
with Meta Platforms, Inc. This lets us measure our Facebook and Instagram ads and show ads to people who have visited our Site. If we use similar advertising tools from other platforms (such as Google, TikTok or Pinterest), they work in the same way.

You can control cookies through your browser settings and through the cookie banner on our Site, where one is shown. Blocking some cookies may affect how the Site works.
To manage how Meta uses information for ads, visit your Facebook or Instagram Ad Preferences. You can also learn about interest-based advertising choices at optout.aboutads.info.

Global Privacy Control (GPC): If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a request
to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information and of targeted advertising, for that browser, where required by law.

5.How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only as described below:

  • Service providers who help us run our business, under contracts that limit how they may use your information. These include our e-commerce platform (Shopify), payment processors, shipping carriers and fulfillment partners, email providers, customer service tools, and IT and security providers.
  • Advertising and analytics partners, such as Meta, as described in Section 4. Under some state laws, sharing information through advertising cookies and pixels may count as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, or as “targeted advertising.” You can opt out as described in Section 7.
  • Gift recipients: when you send a gift, the recipient may see your name and gift message on the packing slip or note.
  • Legal and safety reasons: to comply with a law, a court order or a lawful government request, or to
protect the rights, property or safety of Alf Mabrook, our customers or others.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, sale of assets, financing or similar transaction,
    subject to this Policy.
  • With your consent, or whenyou ask us to share it.

6.Marketing emails and texts

Email: if you subscribe to our emails or opt in at checkout, we will send you marketing emails. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email us at sale@alf-mabrook.com.
After you unsubscribe, we will still send emails about your orders.

Additional rights for residents of certain U.S. states

Depending on where you live, state privacy laws may give you some or all of the following
rights. States with these laws include California, Colorado, Connecticut,
Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon and a growing number of others. These rights may include:

example, records we must keep for tax purposes).

require this right (see Section 3).

How to make a request: email sale@alf-mabrook.com with the subject line “Privacy Request” or call +1 (689) 256-5891. To opt out of targeted advertising, use the “Your Privacy Choices” / “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in our Site footer, or turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser.

Verification: to protect your information, we will verify your identity before acting on access, correction or deletion requests. We usually do this by matching information you give us with what we already hold, such as your email address and a recent order number. You may use an authorized agent; we may ask the
agent to provide proof of authorization and may ask you to confirm your identity directly.

No discrimination: we will not deny you goods, charge you different prices or give you a lower quality of service because you exercised your privacy rights.

Notice to California residents

In the past 12 months we have collected the following categories of personal information described in the California Consumer Privacy
Act: identifiers (name, email, phone, postal address, IP address and account name); customer records (billing and shipping details, while payment data is handled by processors); commercial information (products purchased or viewed, and order history); internet activity (browsing, pages viewed and ad interactions); approximate geolocation (city or region derived from your IP address); and inferences (product preferences, not religious profiling). We disclose all of these categories to service providers. We also disclose commercial information, internet activity and approximate geolocation to advertising partners, and identifiers to advertising partners only as IP and device identifiers.

We collect this information from you, from your device, and from the partners described in Section 1, for the purposes described in Section 2. We keep each category for the periods described in Section 10. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.

“Shine the Light”: California residents may ask, once a year, for information about any disclosure of personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.
We do not make such disclosures.

8.Information about gift recipients

When you buy a gift for someone else, you will give us their name and address, and you may include a message. We use this information only to fulfill and deliver the gift and to provide related customer service. We do not add gift recipients to our marketing lists unless they sign up themselves. By providing a recipient’s information, you confirm that you are allowed to share it with us for this purpose.

9.Children’s privacy

The Services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Many of our gifts are bought for children, for example for a Hifz completion, a graduation or a newborn. These purchases must be made by an adult. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10.How long we keep information

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes in this Policy. Order and transaction records are generally kept for 7 years to meet tax and accounting requirements. Account information is kept until you close your account. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe, plus a short period to make sure your request is honored. Analytics and advertising data are kept according to our providers’ retention settings, generally no more than 26 months.

11.Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information. Payments are processed by PCI-DSS-compliant payment providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we learn of a security breach affecting
your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.

12.Where we operate

Alf Mabrook is based in the United States, and we primarily serve customers in the United States. Information we collect is stored and processed in the United States, and possibly in other countries where our service providers operate. If you visit from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

13.Third-party links and platforms

The Services may link to other websites and to social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and X. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one. When you interact with us on those platforms, their policies apply to the information they collect.

14.Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and change the “Last updated” date. If we make material changes, we will provide additional notice, such as an email or a notice on the Site.
